Roof Repair Smedway built its Roofing division around one idea: homeowners in Marietta deserve a straight answer, a fair price, and a truck in the driveway fast.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in Marietta, OK before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
Licensing and insurance aren't a line item we mention once and forget — we keep documentation current and available on request, because a homeowner signing off on a Roofing project deserves proof, not a promise.
A patched flashing that leaks again in eighteen months costs a homeowner more than the first repair ever saved. That's why our Roofing crews follow manufacturer specs on every nail pattern and every underlayment overlap, not just the visible parts.
Every lead technician carries current state credentials before stepping on a ladder.
A tarp-down call at 2 a.m. gets the same urgency as one at 2 p.m.
Every estimate is itemized in writing so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Technicians dispatched from within Marietta, OK, not flown in from another region.
Most roof failures don't happen overnight — they build quietly for months before a homeowner notices the ceiling stain that finally forces the issue.
Heavy granule loss is one of the earliest visible clues that a roof is approaching the end of its service life.
Cupped shingles trap moisture underneath instead of shedding it, accelerating rot in the decking below.
Small gaps that let light in will let water in during the next heavy rain.
A yellow-brown ring spreading across a ceiling almost always traces back to a roof leak, even if the leak point is several feet away from the stain.
If upstairs rooms feel noticeably warmer than the rest of the house, a failing roof system is a common hidden cause.
Even one missing shingle can let enough water through to rot the decking underneath within a single storm season.
Not every roof problem calls for the same fix, which is why we scope each job individually instead of running every call through one generic estimate.
Emergency dispatch covers downed limbs through the roof deck, storm-torn flashing, and wind-lifted shingle sections that need immediate coverage.
Residential work covers shingle repair, full re-roofs, ridge and soffit ventilation upgrades, and skylight flashing — whatever the house actually needs.
Flat and low-slope commercial roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water issues before they become structural.
Old, layered shingle systems often need a full tear-off rather than an overlay, and we'll tell you honestly which one your roof actually needs.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners a documented record for insurance purposes, whether or not a claim is ultimately filed.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general handyman work often gets wrong — our crews treat them as their own scope.
Calls placed after hours still reach an on-call line for anything urgent.
A technician walks the roof, checks the attic side when accessible, and documents the damage with photos.
No verbal-only pricing — every number is documented so there's no confusion at invoice time.
Once approved, the crew schedules the work and completes it to manufacturer spec, cleaning the property before leaving.
Crews dispatched from within Marietta, OK reach most Marietta calls faster than out-of-area companies quoting a two-week wait.
Every job gets a written estimate before a single nail is pulled, so there's no surprise number waiting at the end.
Crews carry moisture meters, infrared scanners for larger jobs, and proper fall-protection gear on every site.
We'd rather send a crew back for a five-minute fix than leave a customer unsure whether the job was done correctly.
Storm-damage jobs come with photo documentation formatted for insurance adjusters, saving homeowners a step in the claims process.
Some jobs genuinely need a repair, not a replacement, and we'll tell you which one yours is.
We put our workmanship guarantee in writing on every job, so if something about the completed work doesn't match what was agreed, we send a crew back at no extra charge.
If a crew leader finds something during teardown that changes the scope, you'll hear about it before it changes your bill, not after.
Our Marietta coverage area extends across Marietta, OK, and if your address falls just outside the standard zone, dispatch can usually still arrange a visit.
Dispatch routes are planned around Marietta's actual neighborhoods and access roads, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival estimates tend to hold up.
